Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are your pest control technicians certified?

A: We have experienced, knowledgeable, state-certified technicians that are participating in continuing education.

Q: Is your treatment safe?

A: Our products are registered by the E.P.A and our treatment methods meet or exceed label requirements to limit the amount of pesticide usage in your home or business. Special precautions are always observed when children or pets are present.

Q: Do I need to be out of the house during treatment?

A: For most treatments you can be home, but if you need to leave, our technicians can perform the treatment and lock the house when they leave. For flea treatments, we ask that you remain out of the house for up to 6 hours. For outside treatments, you do not need to be home at all.

Q: What happens if it rains after your outside treatment?

A: The materials that we use are designed to resist weather conditions for a time. Once the material dries, it resists normal rains but we will re-treat if you are not satisfied with the results.

Q: If I can catch an insect that is invading my home, can I bring it to your office for identification?

A: Certainly! If you want to bring in an insect for identification, give us a call and stop by. We will tell you what it is and what can be done to get rid of the pest.

Q: Will it help if I spray the house with over the counter chemicals?

A: No, in some cases it will actually spread the insects around the house and make it difficult for our treatment to be effective.

Q: If the pest that was treated for is back after a couple weeks, will you come back for free?

A: Absolutely. You are paying us to take care of your pest problem. Your technician will inform you how much time you need to allow our treatment to work. As long as the reoccurrence is in the warranty period, it is covered by us.

Q: How do I know if there are termites in my house?

A: There will be groups of “swarmers” which are the reproductives, visible mud tubes, or damaged wood. If you think you might have termites, call a reputable pest control company to perform a professional inspection. This is not a do-it-yourself job.

Q: How do I know what type of pest control program do I need?

A: We provide a variety of programs and services. If you contact us, we can discuss what pest problems you have and what service is best for you. We even provide custom service plans if you have special circumstances.
