THE BEAUTY OF NATURE . . . WHERE IT BELONGS

Shoreline Pest & Wildlife Services is a Local, Employee-Owned company, providing both commercial pest services and residential pest management for the West Michigan area since 1990. We are the only local company that has a degreed Entomologist on staff; Shoreline Co-Founder Daryl Andringa holds a degree in Entomology from Michigan State University. All of our technical staff are highly experienced – some as much as 30 years – and are certified by the State of Michigan as well as the National Pest Management Association in Food Plant Pest Management.

At Shoreline, our philosophy is very simple;

Latest News From Shoreline Services

Our hot summer is over! Autumn now brings colorful leaf patterns and colors. But it also brings colorful fall-invading pests we would rather keep out of our houses. Lady Bugs, Boxelder Bugs and Stink Bugs are on the move, looking for places to over-winter. Wall voids are perfect places for them and they know how to get in. Especially lighter colored houses with south-facing windows will see these creatures show up on sunny days in large numbers. Treating for fall-invading insects inside during the winter after they’ve made it in is generally not worth the money. Once they’re in there’s not much you can do except keep the vacuum handy. Boxelder Bug populations have been up the last couple of years and now a relative newcomer to Michigan, the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug, is making its presence known in a big way.  And don’t forget, our furry friends the House Mouse and Field Mouse will be looking for warmer quarters very soon. Time is running short for preventive treatments. Call today to discuss your many options. (Image © Madeleine Mattsson/Dreamstime.com)
